Junior Economist

Through his study of a Bachelor's of Agricultural Science (Agricultural, Environmental and Resource Economics) at the University of Sydney and his experiences on the family merino farm, Marcus has both a theoretical and practical understanding of the challenges facing modern agriculture. A Dean's List scholar and recipient of the AgriFutures Horizon Scholarship, Marcus has gained industry exposure through placements with Riverine Plains, Rural Management Strategies and HybridAg as well as a corporate immersion program in Europe. He brings passion and dedication to his work at AgEcon, with a commitment to gaining new skills and continuing his learning as he begins his career in economics. Marcus is currently based in Camden in south-west Sydney.
